Globe is located about 70 miles east of Mesa, Arizona on US 60.
Travel east on US 60 out of Mesa, past the Superstition Wilderness Area and through Superior. The drive out of Superior to the higher elevation is beautiful as the road winds through steep rocky cliffs. You first come to Miami, Az, and then Claypool, Az (note the Wall Mart on the right). Shortly after the Wall Mart at the top of a hill will be the Globe city sign on the right side of the road. Keep traveling another 2 or 2.5 miles (can't remember the exact distance) to Broad Street. Here there is a stop light and a huge, ugly cell tower). You will see a large brown sign above US 60 indicating The Globe Historic District - Broad Street. Turn left under the railroad tracks and follow Broad Street a short way as it makes a sweeping right turn. The first two story red brick building on your right is the Blue Mule Gallery. El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant is just before the Blue Mule Gallery - good food - "recommended." Directions via Wall Mart - this is sick....Come visit if you can,
